The apartment was lovely, very clean and in a great central location. Martin met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Martin kindly provided us with a cot and highchair for our little boy. We found staying in an apartment much more convenient than a hotel.

Since the lads have been staying with yourselves, they are more grounded and I get better work quality, plus I save on hotels etc. They call it ‘home’ as opposed to digs which I think is much more beneficial even if it is simply a placebo. Thanks for all the help you and the team give us.

I was really pleased with the level of service provided, from picking me up at the train station to replacing the washing machine within two days when the current one stopped working … the apartment was clean and comfortable … in a convenient location close to shops and transport in the town centre. Definitely recommend and thanks for making it a pleasant stay.

Let me take the opportunity to thank you and Martin for everything. I have been well….almost felt like at home in this apartment. Good service, good house cleaning, everything great. Many thanks to Martin and his team for providing impressive service and accommodation. The flat was ideally situated for visiting the Harry Potter Studios, London, Whipsnade Zoo and Legoland. We really appreciated coming ‘home’ to our own parking spot after these long days out. The shops and market at the foot of the building proved handy for filling both the kitchen cupboards and the bedroom wardrobes…. A little unplanned retail therapy sneaked into the week’s activities! The spacious apartment worked well for our family of four and comfortably accommodated six during my parents’ overnight visit.  Martin and his team responded favourably and efficiently to our various requests, including an unexpectedly late check-in, an extra parking space, and black-out curtains to prevent the kids from waking at dawn! I’d wholeheartedly recommend Abode based on our experience.

Great apartment in the centre of Hemel, lovely that they left teas and coffee for us and the apartment was clean and beds very comfortable. We were met on arrival so whole process was seamless. Martin provided a high chair and cot too for my baby daughter which meant we didn’t have to carry all that extra luggage. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Just a quick note to say thanks very much for allowing us the late check-out and for the help with the luggage on departure. It was also good to meet Martin and other members of the team, who were all very friendly and helpful.

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know what a great time we had in your apartment over the weekend. The apartment was perfectly placed for our trip to Wembley, easy transport links with a direct train to Wembley Central in 20 minutes. Your recommendation of a Debenhams breakfast was spot on. We also indulged in a bit of retail therapy with all manner of shops on the doorstep. The roomy two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was ideal for four adults with room to spare … Very easy to find being only 10 minutes off the M1, J8.

We recently had a requirement for accommodation for three overseas visitors who came to the UK for a one month work experience. We contacted Abodebed who were extremely helpful in finding us a suitable apartment for our guests. Their approach and business terms were extremely flexible which suited our needs perfectly. The standard of accommodation and accessories was of the highest standard and we would have no hesitation in using them again, or indeed, recommending them to others.

I just wanted to let you know how impressed we were with our apartment at Abode. So spacious and clean with all the mod cons we could hope for – the large TV was brilliant for watching the Olympics during our stay. We really appreciated the complimentary amenities that were left for our use as well. We will definitely book with you again on our next visit.

I stayed in the apartment for almost two weeks. The location was very handy to my work. Even though I wasn’t booked in for the weekend, I was able to leave my personal belongings there, which I really appreciated. Very friendly service, nice and clean apartment. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I just wanted to write to thank you both so much for all your help in making my sister’s hen party last weekend such a special day for her and all ‘the girls’. They were so impressed with the flats and it made such a difference to stay somewhere like your apartments rather than a hotel. You have both been so helpful and made the organisation and the booking so simple. It was lovely to meet you both over the weekend. So thank you again … thank you for the call about the dress that was left behind. I will certainly use Abode again in the future.

This accommodation proved perfect for our requirements – a family wedding in Enfield, shopping in London and touring north and west of London. Everything was in first-class order, clean and tidy and the whole flat was very comfortable. The parking of our rental ‘tank’ was a minor difficulty, but was at least in the building & a lot easier than many other places we visited in the UK.

More importantly, Martin went out of his way to help various members of the family group – helping late arrivals contact us and get into the unit when we were out, getting taxis sorted, helping with communication problems and dealing with the awesome road network around London, etc. Certainly, none of us has ever experienced an owner who was as helpful – probably the most important recommendation for this unit for visitors to the UK, or those from outside London!

Abode provide immaculate accommodation and a great alternative to an impersonal hotel. As we were travelling with a toddler, the added benefit of two bedrooms and two bathrooms made life much easier than usual hotel stays! The accommodation is very much as described and provides a real ‘home from home’ experience. The personal service provided by Abode, from initial booking through to the completion of our stay, shows why these properties are so popular…nothing was too much trouble. The location itself is great as a base for travelling into Central London, as we did…with the added benefit of Hemel Hempstead’s amenities on your doorstep. Thanks again for a most enjoyable stay, one we’d recommend to anyone else looking for a ‘base’ in the area.
